Program Coordinator

The Coordinator, Megan Moore, is responsible for grant proposals and sponsorship, preparing and scheduling school workshops, administrative duties (budget, registration, etc.), hiring, supervision and training staff, logistical organization of EYES programs, and acts the main liaison between the parents and staff. The Coordinator also maintains the programs’s relationship with the Actua national office in Ottawa.

Assistant Coordinator

The Assistant Coordinator, Christina Gianoli, supports the Coordinator in scheduling and supervising staff, preparing for the camp, organizing registrations, performing administrative duties and developing our year round club programming.

Instructors

EYES Instructors engage youth in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects.  In May and June, they deliver in-school STEM workshops across southern Saskatchewan where they promote science education, literacy, and the EYES summer camp programming.  In addition, they design and prepare fun, hands-on curriculum for the summer camp.  In July and August, an EYES Instructor delivers a week long STEM adventure for groups of campers from all over southern Saskatchewan.

Club Instructor

EYES runs Saturday afternoon clubs at the University of Regina in the Winter semester.  A Club Instructor develops and delivers programming for youth in grades three to nine.

Junior Counsellor

The Junior Counsellor volunteer position assists the instructors during the summer camp by running errands and helping with camp activities.

Board Members

Members of the EYES Program Board of Directors have a unique opportunity to participate in the EYES Program and help impact thousands of youth each year. Our volunteer board members are responsible for providing overall direction to the program. EYES is currently seeking individuals to serve in this capacity.
