FOR EDUCATORS

Professional Development Program

We have launched an all-new professional development program in partnership with the Regina Public Library! Third Tuesday of every month, you can find us from 6:30pm-8:00pm at different branches around Regina offering *FREE* PD sessions- focusing on Digital Literacy! Half utilize technology and coding, and half utilize supplies found in your classroom!

Partnership with:

Digital Literacy In the Classroom

Technology surrounds us, and we don’t go through our days without interacting with tech to some extent. From point of sale systems at the grocery stores, scrolling through our Instagram feeds, to using smart board in the classroom and coding out own digital content! It is here to stay, and it is time we get on board.

Digital Literacy is defined as: the ability to not only know how to USE current and emerging technologies, but understanding HOW they work and having the skills to produce new technologies in the future. (Actua, 2018)
