EYES has been provisionally approved to offer limited face to face programming this summer. The University will continue to monitor and follow the recommendations of the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the Government of Saskatchewan, and Government of Canada. Due to the ongoing pandemic, it is important to note that all summer and day camp programming is subject to change and/or cancellation with minimal notice.
Hands On Learning

- Supervision provided from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

- Unfortunately, no microwaves or fridges are available. Campers are not permitted to use vending machines (they steal change!)
- We have new curriculum developed each year.
- Campers are not permitted to bring personal electronics, including: cellphone, personal gaming systems, iPads/tablets
- CANCELLED for 2021: Water fight (weather dependent), Pizza Party & Science Showcase on Friday.
Drop Off + Pick Up
Drop off and pick up will be in the Education Building at the University of Regina, just beside the ED Auditorium. A map will be posted to show you exactly where to go.
This map will direct you to locations which are reserved for you to park in during the drop-off and pick up times, as well as the parent show on Friday for all of the summer camps.
Children who are enrolled in their week of choice will receive a confirmation of enrolment by email. Applications for children who are requesting financial assistance will require a longer processing period. If the week you request is full, we will contact you regarding alternate dates. A waiting list will also be prepared and administered on a first come first, serve basis.
We work hard to ensure that every child has an opportunity to take part in EYES programming. If you would love to enrol your camper in our summer camp program but find the cost of registration is an obstacle, please consider applying for financial assistance. Applications will be made available in the coming weeks.
Program Cancellations and Closures
Please note that programs may be cancelled for any reason by the University of Regina either for a specific class date or in its entirety. If a program is cancelled in its entirety, a pro-rated refund without any additional fees will be provided. If a specific class date within the program is cancelled, a make-up class may be provided. Please note that this may not always be possible. The University of Regina is closed on all statutory holidays as well as any University of Regina closures for maintenance or other reasons. This includes the period from December 25 to January 1 inclusive.
There will be a 10% withdrawal refund fee assessed for all withdrawal refund requests. A 50% withdrawal refund fee will be assessed for withdrawal refunds requested within 14 days of the program start date. There will not be any refunds issued after the start of any program except for relocation out of the City of Regina and surrounding areas within 50 kilometers or for medical reasons. If it is a medical or relocation withdrawal, a prorated refund less the $15.00 withdrawal refund fee will be assessed. If your child or ward is asked to leave the program by the University of Regina, a prorated refund will be provided. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of withdrawal, notwithstanding any issues with the method of payment outside of the University of Regina control. For example, credit card on file is expired or the client is required to come in if payment was with a debit card or cash. To withdraw from a program, please contact the Recreation & Athletic Services office in person or by calling (306)585-4371.
Transfers are allowed within the same program area up to one day prior to the start date of the program, space permitting. An example of this is if the original registration is in the EYES program, the registrant may transfer into another EYES program but not into a Cougar Camp. Registrants may transfer with no charge up to 3 days after they registered in the program. A $10.00 fee will be assessed for all transfers after the three day grace period. No transfers are allowed after the start date of the program.
