What are Field Trips?

Building comfort on campus is one of the keys to students seeing themselves pursuing higher education.

If you are interested in bringing you class on campus to experience STEM surrounded by aspiring scientists. Please note that we do not charge for field trips at this time, but we do ask that schools provide their own transportation to and from campus. This helps us keep the costs low!

Some things to consider when planning your field trip:

  1. What STEM subject(s) are you interested in engaging in, we can do just about anything! If you don’t have an idea in mind we are happy to help you with some ideas. 
  2. Are you interested in a full or half day? 
  3. Would you like to engage an on campus mentor if they are available, like a lab instructor? 
  4. Is this tripped being planned with other services on campus in kind (sports, indigenious student centre etc). We are happy to assist you in making other connections on campus if you are looking to diversify your visit.
